👶🏽 Family

Being a good husband and a father is my first and most important job. I love spending time with my wife and daughter. We all love taking walks, playing, and watching Encanto... more so my daughter, now that we are on the ~500th viewing.

🔨 Self Improvement

I am obsessed with self improvement. Whether that is in building new skills, improving my mental health, improving my physical health and fitness, learning how to be a better parent, learning about science & tech, etc. I bring a growth mindset to everything I do and I am always excited to learn.

Here are a couple of things I have been learning/ reading recently:

💻 Tech

I love all things tech. From new products to AI to CGI to web3... you name it. I only wish I was born further forward in time so I could see even more sci-fi stuff become reality.

🚀 Stories

I love a good story, especially one of the sci-fi persuasion! Specifically I am a huge cinephile; but I also love books, TV shows, podcasts... whatever.

I am an aspiring novelist; in my free time I am working on a Sci-Fi novel about a defunct space elevator. (Ask me about it).

Additionally I am huge advocate for the importance of storytelling when it comes to design. People think in stories; a good story can elevate anything, especially design, to new heights.

✏️ Design

In my 9 years of design experience within different businesses at Procter and Gamble I have worked in a variety of different roles and capacities.

I have worked as a hands on industrial designer, a design manager, a packaging designer, an assembled goods designer, and a UX designer.

I have created a variety of different innovations for which I have received patents and seen through from inception to shelf/ launch.

I am used to working in large multifunctional teams, small scrum teams, and everything in between.

I have demonstrated leadership within my organization in creating lasting change and building new working models while advocating for design.

🕹 Games

I love games: board games, video games, puzzles, again... you name it, I'll play it. I even like to create games when I can find some free time.
